1918 counsellor, Soviet mission in Switzerland. Until 1925 worked for People's Commissariat of Foreign Affairs. At 14th Party Congress elected member, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Centr Control Commission.
1927 expelled from Centr Control Commission for siding with Zinov’yev-Trotskyisl opposition. From 1928 worked for Chemical Syndicate. 1929-1930 bd member, Chemical Import Trust.
From 1931 worked for Association of Sciences and Technical Publ Houses and for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Association. Arrested by State Security organs.
