Worked for ChernomorNeft, KhadyzhenNeft, BuguruslanNeft, and UkrNefteRazvedka East&P companies and with Institute. of Geology and Geochemistry of Combustible Minerals of National"l Ac.Sci. Ukraine (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) since 1952 (Director, 1963–1982). National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Corresponding Member (1964), National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Academician (1979).
Professor
Dolenko proposed the concept of mineral synthesis of oil and gas in the asthenospere of the Earth"s upper mantle. State Award laureate (1971) for the prospecting and discovery of oil and gas fields at great depths in the Dnieper-Donets basin and Carpathian Foredeep.
