Grandfather William Hunter began practicing in Dunedin (now Pinellas County) before moving to Tampa. He was president of the Florida Bar twice. A permanent member of the Florida committee for Restatement of the Laws.
Later Federal Bankruptcy Judge. After World War II, grandson, William F. Hunter, Junior, moved to Broward County and established the current firm and is still with the firm.
