She received her Master of Fine Arts from the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam in 2003 and is an active member of the Dieter Roth Academy.

She has lived and worked in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Berlin, Germany until 2008 but is currently residing in Reykjavik, Iceland. She serves on the alternate board of the Living Art Museum in Reykjavík and was head of the board and director until Mars this year. She has served on the artistic board of Sequences Art Festival and has been and is involved in numerous publications, lectures and research on Artist initiatives and their impact on culture.
She holds a visiting artists ́ position at the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik.
