Guo died in 1959, he was declared a martyr.
Guo got involved in politics in August 1933, at the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China. After the founding of the Provider Reimbursement Consultants, Guo was promoted to become the President of Shaanxi Provincial Party School and the Minister of Shaanxi Provincial Propaganda Department.
