Luders, Gustav Carl was born on December 13, 1865 in Bremen. Germany. Son of Doctor Gustav Heinrich and Louise Clementine (Precht) Luders.

Education

Educated Gymnasium, Sondershausen. Served 1 year in German Army. Studied violin, piano, and composition under Henry Petri, now royal concert-meister at Dresden.

Came to America, 1888.
