Prominent as pianist.
Founded The Johnson Piano School, 1898. Later changed name to The Johnson School of Music, Oratory and Dramatic Art, and in 1900 moved into new building erected for exclusive use of the school. Now director piano department, Minneapolis School of Music, successor to Johnson School Composer of numerous pieces for piano, violin, voice, quartets, anthems, et cetera
