Director Difco Laboratories, Incorporated., of Detroit, Safety Carolina Heating & Lighting Company of New New York Commissioner Detroit Department of Health, 1917-1939.

Member Board of Supervisors, Wayne County, Michigan, 1921 and 1925-1929. President Detroit Community Fund, 1919-1926.

Chairman Detroit Chapter American Red Cross, 1917-1941. Member Central Committee American National Red Cross, 1921-1942, now honorary member, also member Board Incorporators.

Delegate International Red Cross Conference, Tokyo, 1926, 34.
