Career
Bordelon was the only United States Navy aviator to become an ace in the war. Lieutenant Guy Bordelon, the leader of Venture capital-3 Det Doctorate (Detachment Doctorate) off United States Ship Princeton (CV-37), become the Navy"s only ace in the Korean War. In addition being the only American ace in of Korea that used a piston engined aircraft, the F4U Corsair.
Bordelon, nicknamed "Lucky Pierre", was credited with three Lavochkin Louisiana-9s or Louisiana-11s, and two Yak-18s between 29 June and 16/17 July 1952.
