He recorded for Rounder Records extensively from the 1970s to the 1990s, and often appeared on American Public Media"s A Prairie Home Companion. His guitar arrangement of Stars and Stripes Forever was covered by Chet Atkins. Guy is currently a part-time professor in the guitar department at Berklee College of Music.
