Mr. King received an early education in Philadelphia, and studied architecture in Paris at the Atlier Girard.
After returning to Philadelphia the young man entered the office of Wilson Brothers and Company, where he was employed as draftsman for several years. In 1886 he began practice in association with Arnold Moses, but withdrew after a few years to establish an independent office. During his career Mr. King carried on a general practice, designing both private homes and public buildings, among the latter the Essex and Sussex Hotels at Spring Lake, N. J.; Carlsbrook Inn, Ventnor, N. Y., and a number of hospitals at Easton, Md., and Millvale, N. J.
