Eiryn Gwyne Davies was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1920s and 1930s.
Background
Davies was born in Aberkenfig, and played representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Cardiff Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Wing, id est (that is) number 11 or 14, and played representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain (non-Test matches), and Wales, and at club level for Wigan, as a centre, id est (that is) number 3 or 5, he died in Wigan aged 84.

Notable tour matches Gwyn Davies played centre, id est (that is) number 4, and scored a try in Wigan"s 30-27 victory over France at Central Park, Wigan, on Saturday 10 March 1934.
