This is an important model for the unification of the four basic forces in physics. The book has evolved from the authors research since 1969. The WIGRIS model is described in chapters 1-3 and 11. From the book Orthomodular Iatüces chapter 7 has evolved. Chapters 4,5,6,8,10,14,15 are essentially from the book Quantum Measures and Spaccs. Chapter 9 is from the book Mathematik - bunt gemischt II. The helptext from the internet animation of 2000 www. uni -ulm.de/~gkalmbac is repeated in chapter 12. The other chapters are from the authors lectures and re search. They present a mathematical unification of the four basic interactions in physics. The world is an octo nian vector space, doubling the spacetime coordinates of physies. An energy bifurcation arises from decaying Higgs bosons as input, - the octonian identity, - which generate first quarks, then the Heisenberg uncertainty relations, the strong interaction, a heat chaos and the weak interaction. Light is an output from atoms as sev enth octonian generator. Spacetime arises as the first to fourth octonian generators and an Einstein energy plane for frequency and mass uses the fifth and sixth octonian generators. A dynamical geometry for nucleons and atomic kernels sets also gravity and the Einstein metrics. The experimentally found graviton waves are here deseribed as rgb-graviton whirls, the nucleons neutral color charge red, green, blue of three quarks. The new symmetry added are the Moebius transformations, acting on nucleons bounding spheres. For measurements in physies Gleason operators are introduced which carry weights like mass, vectors and local coordinates.

This book has evolved from a set of lecture notes of a course on orthomodular lattices given at the University of Ulm. Most concepts are developed from their very first notions, but in some instances basic set theory and Hilbert space theory may be needed. The text is in general independent of the exercises and supplementary remarks. The book can be used for a general lecture on orthomodular lattices and also for seminars on special geometrical or logical topics. As the first monograph in the field it makes the widely spread results on orthomodular lattices more easily accessible for researchers.

This book has evolved from lectures and seminars given by the author at different academic institutions during the years 1983-1998. It can be divided into four parts. Noncommutative measure theory is the theme of the first part of the book. The relevant quantum structures are algebraically introduced. This is then used in the axiomatic, geometric model discussed in the second part of the book, where old and partly new groups and finite-dimensional R, C, H-spaces or spheres are studied for particle-series, a bag and the four basic interactions of physics. The third part investigates infinite dimensional spaces, particularly Archimedean and non-Archimedean orthomodular spaces, which generalize classical Hilbert spaces. The last part of the book contains short reviews on related topics which are useful to have at hand. Audience: This volume will be of interest to graduate students and researchers whose work involves mathematics of physics relativity and gravitation, order, lattices, and algebraic structures.
