Career

Entered Inland Revenue Service, 1859. Jjassed by competition into Inland Revenue Laboratory, 1861, which became the Government Laboratory, 1894. And retired under the age limit, 1904.

Juror at the Paris Exhibition, 1900, and at Saint Louis, 1904.

Imperial Service Order, 1903. F.C.S; late Deputy Principal of the Government Laboratory, London.

Fellow of Institute of Chemistry. Club: Bromley and County.
