After completing Tokyo Polytechnic School in 1891 was adopted by Kyusuke Matsumura of Nagoya.
Career
Secured a potent for manufacturing hard porcelain in 1896 and began producing hard chinaware in 1902 at Arita Village in a special kiln he designed which used coal as fuel. This system of heating soon became very popular throughout the country.
