Career
Pranoto is a Latter-day Saint. In 1991, the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City, Utah, held an exhibit of batiks made by Indonesian Latter-day Saints. This was inspired by curator Richard Oman having come across a batik by Pranoto representing Joseph Smith"s First Vision.
