Came to the United States, 1900, naturalized citizen, 1916. Organist Bethany Oratorio Society, Lindsborg, Kansas, 1900-1914, conductor same society, 1915-1946. Conductor Bethany A Cappella Choir, 1935-1946.

Professor organ Bethany College, 1900-1952, mus theory since 1900. Organist Bethany Lutheran Church, 1921-1943. Guest conductor Northwestern Oklahoma Choral Society, Enid, 1931-and 1932.
