His greatest work was the 8-volume business encyclopedia, Encyklopædi for Handlende, completed by others after his death.
Career
Here he founded Grüners Handelsakademi in 1843, and remained its leader until his death. He was then succeeded by Albert Kaarup. Grüner published numerous practical manuals, tables, and similar works for merchants.
