Was for several years assistant to Professor of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in the University of Edinburgh.
Has, since 1878, been Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Edinburgh School of Medicine, Minto House. Physical Royal Maternity Hospital Edinb.
Is Consulting Gynaecologist Royal Infirmary. Was on the active staff for twenty years.
Was for lifteen years prior to 1901 in charge of Gynaecological wards at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.
Is a Fellow, and has twice been President, of the Edinburgh, Obstetrical Society. Professor of Midwifery, Edinburgh University since 1905. Late President of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
