She is best known for playing Lilly Okanakurama in the 2012 film Pitch Perfect and its sequel Pitch Perfect 2 (2015). She also owns her own fashion line titled Hanamahn. She was 16 when she started modeling.
Lee has appeared in campaigns for Honda, Jeep, Apple Incorporated., Nokia, Sebastian, American Express, Himachal Pradesh, Cherry Coke, and Midori.
She has appeared in the magazines TIME, SOMA, Elle, and Teen Vogue. Lee attended Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California, from where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts. Later she designed for Harley-Davidson, Juicy Couture, and Mossimo.
In 2011, Lee made her television debut guest starring on Mike & Molly, followed by an appearance on Workaholics. Lee reprised her role in Pitch Perfect 2 (2015).
