During training participated in the play Underground by the famous Dutch director Johan Simons. The following year, the young actress made her debut on television, playing a small role in the television series Mastrihtskie Cops. The real popularity came to Hannah in 2012, when the director Sacha Polak entrusted her with the title role in his drama Hemel where Hoekstra plays sensual beauty with signs of nymphomania.
