Career
He owes the purity of his style in Kathi, Thaadi and Minukku roles in Kathhakali to his Guru Chenganoor Raman Pillai. Ramakrishna pillai was born in Haripad village in the year 1926. He was first instructed under Thakazhi Ramanpillai, Chennithala Kochupillai Panicker and Kurichi Kunjan Panicker.
Impressed by his talents, Guru Chengannur took him as his student and taught (Cholli Aattam)all major roles in Kathakali He has started a Kathakali Troop & institute in Haripad to train students across South Kerala.
His name was mentioned in the famous Malayalam film song "Uthara Swayamvarm" by Sreekumarn Thampi.
