Career
He has three decades of experience in the industry. He was the President of the DTH Operators Association of India from 2011-2014. Prior to working at Tata Sky, Nagpal worked with Vodafone Essar in various capacities.
He has also worked with various brands such as Shoppers Stop, Pepsi, Marico and Lakme.
He took over as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tata Sky in August 2010, taking over from Vikram Kaushik who retired in December of the same year. He served as Director of Marketing at Vodafone Mobile Services Limited He also served as Director of Marketing and Business at Vodafone India Limited.
He has been an Independent Director at OnMobile Global Limited since December 7, 2011. Nagpal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1983 and a Master of Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi in 1985.
