Career
He served as a Canadian federal politician from 1965 to 1968. Ballard first ran for a seat in the Canadian House of Commons in the 1965 federal election. Ballard ran for re-election in the 1968 federal election but was defeated by Liberal candidate Patrick Mahoney.
