Tuan Guru Dato" Doctor Haron Din is the spiritual leader of the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party.

National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) bestowed upon him Professorship in the year 1986.
He wrote a lot of books Among them are "Manitoba and Islam", "Islamic Philosophy","The Torch of Islam", "Tasawwur Islam", "Hudud in Islamic Jurisprudence" and many more.

This caused a split in Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society as Haron Din was deemed as a prominent Islamic scholar.
