Career
He was the eighth head football coach for the Illinois State Redbirds in Normal, Illinois, holding that position for ten seasons, from 1912 until 1922. His overall coaching record at International Skating Union was 15 wins, 43 losses and 10 ties. This ranks him ninth at International Skating Union in terms of total wins and 16th at International Skating Union in terms of winning percentage.
He later taught geography at Clark University and Bloomsburg State Teacher"s College.
