Eden began his career with the Eastern Suburbs club as a centre in 1969 before moving to the Saint George Dragons where he played in the front row. Harry Eden played his last two seasons with South Sydney Rabbitohs in 1974 and 1975. Harry Eden still holds the record for the most tries in a season by a prop forward, set while playing for South Sydney Rabbitohs during the 1975 season.
Harry Eden died of cancer in 2006 aged 63.
He played three seasons with the Dragons between 1971–1973 and was a member of Street George first grade team that was defeated by South Sydney in the 1971 Grand Final.
