Career
Kerley twice kicked four goals in his games with Collingwood in 1915 among his year"s total of 21. He served overseas during the war and represented the Australian Training Units team in the "Pioneer Exhibition Game" which took place in London. Resuming his VFL career in 1921, Kerley played for Street Kilda and kicked 22 goals for them that year.
The second stage of Kerley"s career took place at Coburg and he captained them to three successive premierships from 1926 to 1928, the last as captain-coach.
