Career
He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, from which he graduated with a degree in painting. He emigrated to the United States, and practiced his painting in Chicago and Los Los Angeles Mintz taught at the Art Institute of Chicago and Washington University in Saint Louis.
