Director and member Executive Committee First National Bank & Trust Company. Director C. and L. E. Transportation Company. Chairman Clark County War Savings Stamp Committee and director American Red Cross, 1917-1920.

Awarded distinguished service medal of Ohio War Savings Stamp Committee Organizer and 1st chairman Springfield Community Fund.
