Career
Before being mayor of Laatzen the lawyer worked for Social Democratic Party of Germany-Landtagsfraktion Niedersachsen, Niedersächsisches Justizministerium and Niedersächsische Staatskanzlei under Gerhard Schröder"s command. Since 2006, Jagau is the president of the Region Hannover.
