Career
She was raised in Mombasa, Kenya, before moving to Sweden with her family at the age of seven. During her adolescent life, Ahmed had multiple run-ins with the law. In 2004, she was convicted of arson.
In January 2007, she was convicted after assaulting and stealing from a severely visually impaired man and assaulting two girls whom she accused of stealing her handbag.
In 2007, Ahmed was selected as one of twelve finalists in the fourth cycle of the Swedish adaption of America"s Next Top Model, eventually winning the competition against Margarita Maiseyenka. She has worked as a model in Stockholm, Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris and Rome since winning the competition.
In 2008, she was featured on the cover of Sheeko magazine.
