Career
One of the first important duties of Andigné was to arrange the actual return of settlements to France as required by the Treaty of Breda in 1667. Among the locations that were specifically transferred in 1670 were Portuguese-Royal, Portuguese-Louisiana Tour, and Fort Pentagouet.
