CONSIDINE, Heffernan James Fritz was born on October 24, 1846. Son of late Heffernan Considine, Justice of the Peace and D.L., of Derk, Company Limerick, and Mary, daughter of John MacMahon, Justice of the Peace, of Firgrove, Company Clare.

Career
High Sheriff of Company Limerick, 1881. Resident Magistrate Ireland, 1882. Served counties Cork and Kerry until 1887.
Transferred to county of Kilkenny, and served there and in other counties until 1900. Received thanks of Lord Lieutenant and Irish Government on six occasions. Holds Queen Victoria’s Commemoration Medal, 1900, King’s Medal, 1903, King’s Police Medal, 1909. A. Oxfordshire.; D.L. Company Limerick; Deputy Inspector-General Royal Irish Constabulary since 1900.
