Heinz Stuy - nicknamed Heinz Kroket ("Heinz Croquette"), because he would sometimes drop a ball as if it were a hot croquette - won with Ajax in the golden era of the club the Intercontinental Cup, three European Cups, four league titles and three Dutch cups. Thus, together with Bayern Munich player of the 1970s and 1980s Bernd Dürnberger, he holds the record for being the player having won the most major club titles without having ever played for the national team of his country.
