Known for describing the Sweden Democrats as a "fascist" party, Arnstad has been cited by Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for his claim that the party is "neofascist", claims otherwise not supported by any historians. Arnstad has later gone on to label the Sweden Democrats as a terrorist organisation.
