Studied at Trinity College, Dublin. Theological Prizeman, and Prizeman in Hebrew and Modern Languages.
After serving curacies at Eston, Yorkshire, and Holy Trinity, Southampton, he became the first Warden of the Wilberforce Memorial Mission in South London. Then Rector of St. Lawrence, Southampton, from whence he was appointed by the Bishop of Winchester, Rector of Chilbolton and Rural Dean of Stockbridge. Vicar and Rural Dean of Croydon, 1894-1903.
Proctor in Convocation for Diocese of Canterbury. Formerly Chaplain to lab Queen, and to present King. Right Reverend (of a Bishop) Henry Horace Pereira; D.; Honourable Canon of Canterbury Cathedral : Rector of All Hallows, Lombard Street, since 1904.
