Admitted a Solicitor, 1894. Assistant Examiner to the Law Society, 1903-1908. One of the founders of the Amateur Football Association, of which he has been Honourable Secretary since its formation in 1907.

Founder of The Outcasts Football Club, and one of the founders of the Public Schools Club.

Master of the Supreme Court of Judicature since 1908.
