Connected with packing business under title of Henry Krug Packing Company until plant was sold to Swift interests, 1904. Chairman of the Board American National Bank. President St. Joseph Library Board.

Trustee Young Men’s Christian Association, State History Society of Missouri. Director Boy Scouts of America, Northwest Missouri Association for the Blind.

Membership

Clubs: Commerce, St. Joseph Country. Donated 140 acres land to City of St. Joseph for park known as Krug Park, which father founded with gift of 20 acres, park now comprising 160 acres.
