Henry Makowitz

Background

Henry was born on November 4, 1952 in Gliwice, Poland. Son of Andrew and Sima Makowitz. He came to the United States in 1962.

Education

Henry studied at the State University of New York in Albany, New York, United States. In 1973 he became a Bachelor of Science in physics. In five years he was a student of the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York, United States. He received a degree of the Master of Science in the area of mechanical engineering. In 1988 Henry studied at the University of Texas. He became a Doctor of Philosophy in physics.

Career

Henry worked as a computer programmer of Florida Power and Light Company in Miami, Florida, United States from 1974 to 1975. In this year he became a physicist, computer science analyst, nuclear engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, New York, United States. He worked there until 1984. From 1984 to 1986 he worked as a senior analyst in Cray Research Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. In 1986 he became an advisory scientist, engineer of physics and material of Idaho National Engineering Laboratory of Lockheed Martin Idaho Technology in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States. Presently Henry is a Chief Executive Officer of Imagineering Technologies, Inc. a Cancer Research Company.

Achievements

• Achievements include the patent for Nuclear E-Plus Accelerator, Reactor, and Intense Slow Position Source. Development of quasi-channeling theory.
