During his club career, Mckop played for Zimbabwe Saints, Bonner South Carolina, Bristol City, Shelbourne, Vorwärts Steyr, Mamelodi Sundowns, Spartak Pretoria, Wits University and AmaZulu. He also played for the Zimbabwe national football team
