Career

Served United States Ordnance Department. Inspector of contracts with Turkish government for arms and ammunition, 1873-1875. In charge Government exhibit Centennial Exposition, 1876.

Instructor of ordnance United States Military Academy, 1886-1891. Retired on account of impaired eyesight, October, 1893. Received Order of Osmanie, 2d class, from Turkish government, 1875.
