According to the New York Times obituary of 1939 Pfeiffer made large donations to educational institutions and Methodist church. Henry Pfeiffer founded Pfeiffer Chemical Company in 1901. In 1908 he acquired William R. Warner Company
Under Mr.
Pfeiffer"s leadership William R. Warner became a leading drug company.
