Began with Kendall Brothers, 1883. With H. T. & J. V. Kendall, bankers, 1884-1886. With Pennsylvania Trust Company, 1886, treasurer and trust officer, 1904-1912.

Second vice president, 1912-1916, vice president, 1916-1921, became president, 1921, now retired.

Was member loan committee National Credit Corporation Northern 2 of 3d Federal Reserve District Chairman first two Liberty Loan drives of Berkshire County, World War. Trustee and president of the board Young Men's Christian Association, Reading.
