Retired; acted as construction engineering in various cases for railroad commissions of several states and for cities in a number of states, 1916-1921. Construction engineering on railroad grade separation for city of Detroit, 1915-1920.
Has devoted much time since 1920 to the subject of depreciation in connection with railroads, electric and gas utilities. In connection with valuation and recapture proceedings has represented a number of carriers, including Illinois Central System, New York Central System, Union Pacific System, Frisco, Norfolk & Western, Virginian and Chesapeake & Ohio.
Has also been retained in cases involving Detroit Edison Company, Alabama Power Company, Georgia Power Company, Carolina Power and Light Company, South Carolina Power Company.
