Graduate Cleveland High School, 1884.

Career

Began as office boy with Cleveland Malleable Iron Company, 1884, and since with it and its successors, National Malleable Castings Company (1891), National Malleable & Steel Castings Company (1923). Became assistant treasurer for Cleveland Works, 1891, director, 1899, vice president of the company, 1909, president, 1913. Became chairman, 1934.

Resigned as chairman and director, 1945. Trustee Western Reserve University.
