Holsman, Henry K. was born on July 3, 1866 in Dale, Guthrie County, Iowa, United States. Son of Henry and Louise (Kerchner) Holsman.

Education

Bachelor of Arts, Iowa (now Grinnell) College, 1891.

Career

Superintendent for contractors, Chicago, 1891-1893. Member Brainerd & Holsman, architects, 1893-1897. Alone since 1897; mechanic engineer to Independent Harvester Company, Plano, Illinois, 1910-1912.

Designed Bacteriol.

Laboratory, University of Chicago, and many structures for colleges, also a number of churches Specializes in fireproof apts. and hotels. Park commissioner of Ridge Park, Illinois, 1908-1909.
