Studied at Horncastle Grammar School. Dub. University Bachelor of Arts, B.Ch., Doctor of Medicine Indian Medical Missionary, 1887. Invalided home, 1888.
Doctor of Medicine.
Founded Grindelwald Conference, 1892-1896. Interviewed the German Emperor 1905, and arranged International Municipal visits between England and Germany. Presented the German Burgomeisters to the King in 1906 and 1908.
Chairman of New Reform Club, 1902 - 05. Contested Liberal Boston Division, Lines., 1910. Justice of the Peace Middlesex; Order of the Red Eagle of Prussia.
