Liverpool College. Decided to devote himself to philanthropic work, and in 1893 founded the Liverpool Food Association, afterwards Food and Betterment Association and in 1909 called League of Welldoers. Plannedtlie Walker Fund, of which he is also Honourable.

Career

Director; Editor of The Welldoer, the official organ of the League.
