Herman Barth was born in 1868.
He was known as the architect of several public buildings, including the South Wing of the San Francisco City and County Hospital, and in addition designed the Masonic Lodge at Richmond, Calif. Mr. Barth maintained an office in the Phelan Building for many years.
From 1910 until the time of his death was a member of the San Francisco Chapter.
